As the
chamber dissolved, the trio found themselves standing before the Heartstone
once more. Its fractured surface had transformed into a seamless, glowing
monolith, radiating waves of calming light. Selan stood beside it, its
crystalline form gleaming brighter than ever.
“You have
done what few could,” Selan said, its voice filled with admiration. “The
Heartstone is restored, and the Luminal Realm breathes anew. For your courage,
curiosity, and loyalty, you shall each receive a gift.”
The
Heartstone pulsed, and three small, glowing shards broke away, hovering before
Rhea, Mira, and Kiran.
“These
shards are fragments of the Heartstone,” Selan explained. “They carry the
essence of this realm. As long as you hold them, you will remain connected to
the Luminal Realm. They will grant you abilities tied to the traits you
embody.”
Rhea
reached out and touched her shard. A warmth spread through her, and she felt a
newfound confidence blooming within her. “What does it do?” she asked.
“For you,
Rhea,” Selan said, “the shard enhances your courage, allowing you to face even
the greatest fears without hesitation. It will also guide you through moments
of uncertainty.”
Mira took
her shard, feeling a surge of clarity as it glowed in her palm. “And me?”
“Yours

unknown.”
Kiran
hesitated for a moment before grasping his shard. A pulse of strength coursed
through him, steady and grounding.
“Your
